BlackHawk Dealer Highlight: Shawn & Tiffany Elder!

Hey everyone, my name is Shawn and here is a little bit about me. I have a beautiful wife Tiffany and we have a 10 year old daughter Haley Mae. We love being outdoors and hanging out with family and friends. We currently live in Keokuk, Ia and will be moving to Durant, Ok in December 2017. I am a USPPA certified powered paragliding instructor and will be training come January 2018. I received excellent training from Michael Mixed from Discovered Powered Paragliding and obtained my instructor certification and tandem rating from Francisco De Santis. During and after this time, I was assisting Mike with training at his facility where I learned a great deal of knowledge. I have traveled to Salt Lake City to do a SIV/maneuver course with Chris Santacroce to strengthen my skills which was a great experience. I absolutely love flying, it has been a dream since I was a child and would love to help others achieve their dreams as well. Let’s get you started, come train with me so we can get you in the sky!

BLACKHAWK PARAMOTOR HELP WANTED!

We are looking for a new BlackHawk Team Member to work directly in the office of the largest domestic Powered Paragliding Manufacturer! This is a great opportunity to become part of the fastest-growing form of Aviation. Below are a list of the things we are looking for. REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT:

HONEST: Must be extremely honest and trustworthy. Our customers expect this above all and our reputation has been built on this premise.
ENTHUSIASTIC: We are looking for someone with great “people skills” and above all, exceptional at customer service.
FAST-PACED: You must be able to multitask & handle a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
WORK ETHIC: Must take pride in, and ENJOY working hard. Will sometimes be required to arrive early, and stay late.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: We prefer someone who is a Pilot or has experience in the PPG Industry (not a must), however preferred.
BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS: You will need to know your way around a computer (word processing, typing skills, printing, etc.)
NOT SHY ON THE PHONE: We spend hours on the phone with customers daily. Must be comfortable, polite, and enthusiastic with customers on the phone.
WILLING TO LIVE LOCALLY: We need someone who is willing to relocate and live locally to be available in person to work in our office.
